Trend Alert : The Great Gatsby Trend

The roaring '20s are back! With the upcoming release of The Great Gatsby this weekend, we've noticed a strong reemergence of art deco style in not just fashion but home design and decor.

The '20s style was a time of bold rich colors, symmetric geometric patterns and extravagance.  Check out some of our favorite Gatsby inspired picks below!

A Beautiful Feature Wall

Here's a recent dining room design we did for a client.  Don't those pair of gold lamps and mirror look stunning in the space!

But the wall needed an extra pop of texture, so we added this beautiful grass cloth wallpaper by Philip Jefferies.  It was just what the feature wall needed!

Neutral Living Room Design

A couple of weeks ago we completed a living room project for a client in Belmont.  The client wanted a soft and tranquil color palette with warm greys, beige, and light blues.

Doesn't this cozy corner just make you want to curl up on that chair and read a book! :)

The New Showroom!

Here's a sneak peak at our newly designed studio/showroom!  It's looking really great!  We'll have some unique, one-of-a-kind furniture and accessories up for sale, so stay tuned!  As well as a wall of fabric and wallpaper samples to browse through.  We'll post more pictures up soon but if you're in downtown Burlingame, come check it out at 859 California Drive!

Sprout Storefront

Last month, we had so much fun designing and installing a storefront window for the children's store, Sprout, in San Francisco!  We went with a green, organic spring theme.  Here are some images of the window!

We used rolls of moss on the floor, tree branches to display baby products, and cute mushrooms and ceramic frogs for accessories.  We also made those patterned panels on the side by pasting grass cloth wallpaper, leftover from a past project, onto a large sheet of insulation board.  It was quick and easy and added a punch of character to the window!  We just love how it turned out!
